OUR GOAL

Our goal is to serve our diverse groups of elderly and disabled American people by providing useful products so that they allow persons to live with dignity where they choose, in a community-based setting. Thereby allowing these groups of  American citizens to continue to live fruitful lives. Therefore we support the  Olmstead Supreme Court decision , and we are working with the U.S. Department of HHS and President Bush to build upon the Delivering on the Promise: Preliminary Report of Federal Agencies' Actions to Eliminate Barriers and Promote Community Integration.


AHA ANNOUNCES A DONATION PROGRAM TO THE
OLMSTEAD INDEPENDENT LIVING PROJECT

 We are proud to be a partner with the Olmstead Independent Living National Network. AHA will donate 10% of its net sales to building  accessible-affordable housing for elderly and disabled persons, and to meet the total independent living needs. Universal Consultants, Inc., and its division Able Home Aides are proud to work with the President, government private agencies, and consumers to develop the President's Executive Order  into one of the most important undertakings yet.

A REHABILITATION COUNSELOR IN ILLINOIS, MS. PAM, IS PLEASED AT HOW WE AT ABLE TO GET HER CLIENT THE LIFT CHAIR AND SAVE THE DEPARTMENT 10% ON THE PURCHASE PRICE!

WE FIRST TOLD ROSEMARY  TO CALL THE OFFICE OF REHABILITATION SERVICES (ORS) TO ASK IF THEY WOULD BUY HE A LIFT CHAIR. ORS ALLOWED ROSEMARY TO BECOME THEIR CLIENT WITHIN A FEW DAYS, AND THEY PURCHASED THE CHAIR FROM ABLE HOME AIDES AT A $100 DISCOUNT.

NOW ROSEMARY IS HAPPY BECAUSE SHE IS ABLE TO STAND ON HER OWN WITHOUT HELP. PAM IS HAPPY  BECAUSE HE WAS ABLE TO HELP ROSEMARY LIVE MORE INDEPENDENTLY AND SAVE MONEY.
