This easy to read weather thermometer helps teach how to dress for the weather.

Our unique and vibrant weather thermometer shows "what to wear out there!" Its patented design helps teach how to dress for the weather, based on current temperatures.
This brightly colored weather thermometer's needle points to what clothes are appropriate for the current temperature. It looks great in anyone's garden (Mom's, Dad's, Grandparent's, Aunt's, Uncle's, even the elementary school's!)
Originally invented to help our own son learn to dress appropriately for the temperature, our LucasWorks Visual Weather Thermometer helps teach "dressing for the weather" skills to your pre-schoolers, and to autistic and mentally disabled children and adults. It even gives a gentle reminder to adults with early stage alzheimers, so they don't over or under dress for the current weather conditions.
We have had enormous success teaching Lucas how to dress for the weather without any more fights, thanks to the Visual Weather Thermometer. Lucas can now get up, check what to wear by looking outside at the thermometer, and go get dressed. No more putting on sweat shirts in 93 degree heat or fighting over wearing shorts in winter.
Now if we could just invent something that prevents wearing stripes with plaid...
Our LucasWorks Visual Weather Thermometer comes in three regional dial faces to accomodate the various climate regions across the country:

Temperature ranges
Coat Weather: - 40° to 40°
Jacket Weather: 40° to 60°
Shirt & Pants Weather: 60° to 75°
Shorts Weather: 75° and up
This is our most popular weather thermometer, and appropriate to much of the United States. See our temperature ranges to determine if the Standard Dial is the right range of temperatures for your use.

This Northern Dial Visual Weather Thermometer is for all the cold weather places, like the Dakotas, the Great Lakes area, and the mountain regions all over our great nation. It's especially designed for people who are used to the cold, with help from folks in Wisconsin who are familiar with below zero temps. If you live in the North, or are just extremely cold natured, this is the dial face for you! If you don't think you would be wearing shorts in 65 degree weather, you might want to look at our Standard Dial face.

The perfect gift for a loved one who is just learning, or has trouble remembering the importance of dressing for the weather and temperature, our Southern Dial Visual Weather Thermometer would be appropriate in the Deep South and parts of the desert South West. (We know that there are areas of the South West that get quite chilly at night, and those areas might be more at home with our Standard Dial.) Those who are warm natured might also appreciate this dial face anywhere they live!
